An Extraordinary General Meeting has authorised a multi-purpose double storey commercial building on the Association’s Obama Road property, revised the cost-sharing ratio to 60:40, folded member contributions into annual subscriptions, and discontinued the Chibombo Agro-Vet Project.

This magazine provides highlights of the activities that took place during the 2026 VAZ Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting, which was held at Sandy's Creation Resort, Chilanga, Lusaka, from 22nd to 24th April 2026. The conference brought together veterinary professionals, veterinary paraprofessionals, academia, government representatives, industry leaders, development partners and students under a common purpose of advancing animal health, public health, food security and national development. The event provided an important platform for scientific exchange, professional networking and strategic reflection on the future of our profession.
