Zoonotic Skin Diseases
How to recognise, diagnose and manage skin diseases shared by animals and people, with a board-certified veterinary dermatologist.
Lusaka time (CAT, UTC+2): 18:00
Presented in English. Live Q&A follows the lecture.
Many of the skin problems we see every day in dogs, cats and livestock do not stay with the animal. Zoonotic skin diseases move between patients, owners and the veterinary team, which puts the consulting room on the front line of One Health. In this first lecture of the VAZ CPD Lecture Series, internationally recognised dermatologist Dr Patrick Hensel joins us from Switzerland to share how to recognise these conditions early, confirm them with confidence and protect the people around our patients.
